Flying Carpets over Agrabah is based on a traditional "hub and spoke" fairground style ride, which can be seen in many travelling fairs around the world, however it is the unique and beautiful theming, which sets the ride apart.
The cars are designed to resemble flying carpets as featured in Disney's Classic film "Aladdin" with plies of cushions forming the back and sides of the cars. Each carpet can accommodate
four guests in two rows of two.
As Genie shouts "Action" the carpets take to the air with the guests in the front row controlling the rise and fall of the carpets while those in the back row moves the forward or back tilt of the carriages.

Flying Carpets over Agrabah basiert auf einem traditionellen Fahrgeschäft, wie es in vielen Themenparks und auf vielen Rummelplätzen dieser Welt gefunden werden kann. Dennoch unterscheidet es sich hier durch die einzigartige und romantische Thematik von den anderen seiner Art.
Die Wagen sind wie fliegende Teppiche gestaltet, Disney´s Klassiker "Aladdin" nachempfunden. Falten bilden die Rück- und Seitenwände der Wagen und jeder einzelne davon
kann vier Gäste in zwei Reihen zu je zwei Personen aufnehmen.
Sobald Genie "Action" ruft, gehen die Teppiche in die Luft, wobei die Gäste der ersten Reihen jetzt das Auf und Ab des Gefährtes kontrollieren können, während die Gäste der hinteren Reihen den Teppich vor und zurück bewegen können. |

Tips for "Flying Carpets over Agrabah"

Flying Carpets over Agrabah is the only attraction in the studios specifically aimed at younger children.
Therefore even with its capacity twice that of Dumbo
in the Disneyland Park lines grow fast on bussy days. Still those queues
usually do not get as long as at Dumbo. On these days it is recommended
to make use of the FastPass-System
or visit the ride early in the morning.
In general the line temporarily grows
after the parade has finished. |
Diese Attraktion ist derzeit die einzige in den Studios, die gezielt für das jüngere Publikum gebaut wurde. Selbst mit einer Kapazität, die doppelt so groß ist wie die von
Dumbo im
Disneyland Park, bilden sich hier an Tagen mit großem Andrang
schnell Schlangen, die jedoch in der Regel nicht die Länge der
Schlangen bei Dumbo erreichen. An solchen Tagen empfiehlt sich daher
die Nutzung des FastPass-Systems
oder ein Besuch am Morgen.
Generell gilt: nach Abschluss der
Parade steigt die Wartezeit ebenso wie kurz vor der Parade deutlich
an. |
