To
enter the park, the rides and the Disney movie magic you first have
to go through the beautiful Studio 1. Three big doors invite you to
enter the building. Once inside a big street in front of you greets
you. You have entered the street of success, the road to the movies,
and the direction to fame. On the sides you can find big movie sets
pulled up. They are colourful sets inviting you to enter them and
find the secret behind them. Leaving the entrance behind you, on the
right hand site you can enter a big restaurant called "En Coulisse",
on the other site you can find a massive big shop, "Legends of
Hollywood".
Back on the street there is a lot to explore. The sealing might look
bare to some, but it brings out the feeling like it is on a stage.
Lamps and spots can been seen everywhere, pointing at the guest,
making you feel you are on stage or on a set waiting for the
curtains to open or the camera to start rolling.
But you can also find a lot of live entertainment here. Like to
chill out a bit? You can sit down at the Studios 1 and enjoy some of
the live music bands playing on the street or on the stage on the 1
floor. Other live entertainment, like the making of a movie, could
be one of the shows you come to the studios 1 for to enjoy. Beware,
you might be asked to become a real actor and join in the fun.
Studio 1 is packed with a lot more surprises. You can find cameras
standing ready to film. There are props everywhere. A gasoline
station, ready to fill up the movie car standing next to it. Neon
light billboards, paintings on the wall as background decoration. At
the back of the studios 1 you find the exit, which is also the
entrance to the other parts of the Walt Disney Studios.
