Welcome at Frontlot

The entrance of the park resembles the gate of a classic Hollywood studio and reminds one of the movie-industry's Golden Age of the 1930's and 40's. A sparkling water fountain featuring Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice brings the Frontlot to life, where you will also find the Studios' guest relation offices as well as this theme park's version of Disneyland's Emporium, where a large assortment of Disney merchandise is available, the Studio Store.

Heading deeper into the park, visitors have to walk through the large Studio 1, which is the central stage of the Walt Disney Studios resembling the first production studios of Walt Disney outdoors. Strolling down the indoor boulevard, you see a collection of buildings, that seem to come right out of Hollywood - but at a closer look, you will realise, that those buildings are just clever movie sets, which are supposed to look like the Hollywood Boulevard.

 The Studio 1 is also home to one of the largest stores at the Walt Disney Studios, which offer a large variety of cinema memorabilia and merchandise. On the other side of the boulevard, a fast food restaurant, called "Backstage Restaurant" is located, which is supposed to evoke the feeling and the look of a live set.

Der Eingang des Parks ähnelt an ein Tor eines klassischen Hollywoodstudios und soll an das Goldene Zeitalter der Filmindustrie der 30er und 40er Jahre erinnern. Ein funkelnder Springbrunnen mit Mickey als Zauberlehrling haucht dem Frontlot Leben ein, wo man auch das Informationsbüro des Themenparks findet sowie die Studios-Version von Disneylands Emporium, wo ein breites Angebot an Disney-Souvenirs erhältlich sein wird, den Studio Store.

Um tiefer in den Park hineinzugelangen gehen die Gäste durch das riesige Studio 1 im Hauptatelier der Walt Disney Studios. Während man gemütlich den überdachten Boulevard hinunterschlendert, sieht man eine Anzahl an Gebäuden, die direkt aus Hollywood zu kommen scheinen - doch bei genauerem Hinsehen wird man erkennen, dass diese Gebäude beeindruckende Filmsets sind, die nur wie der Hollywood Boulevard aussehen sollen.

Studio 1 beheimatet eines der größten Geschäfte in den Walt Disney Studios, das eine große Auswahl an cineastischen Erinnerungsstücken und Souvenirs anbietet. Auf der anderen Seite des Boulevards findet sich ein Fast Food Restaurant, das Backstage Restaurant, das die Atmosphäre und das Äußere eines echten Drehortes einfangen soll.
