The Television Production Tour at the Walt Disney Television Studios offers guests the unique opportunity to tour through the working home of the Disney Channel France. Here guests have the chance to watch the production of shows that are broadcast to homes across the country.
Guests first enter a pre-show area where (via a bank of 9 video screens) the hosts from 6 different Disney Channels from across Europe welcome guests in their native language, and take a moment to explain what makes their countries programming so unique. Next guests meet the live host who will be conducting their tour before the doors open and the tour continues inside the Walt Disney Television Studios.
Guests now find themselves in the transmission centre; here through glass screens they can watch the production team at work. This area of the studios is where most of the pre and post production takes place, with staff working on the footage which is beamed across the country. The Tour Guide gives a brief overview of this area before an onscreen Buzz Lightyear (from the channels "Star Command" animated show) takes over to explain the workings of the production area.
The next section of the tour takes guests into the heart of the studios, a working soundstage.
The Disney Channel Soundstage 1 is home to one of the channels most popular programmes "Zapping Zone" and here through a glass partition guests can see the working set from the show. If a show is in production the set is sure to be a hive of activity with presenters and production crew hard at work creating the show. The Tour Guide then takes time to give an overview of the action and show some clips of the channels most popular programmes. Then with the use of some visual TV trickery the guest's image is combined with a picture of the set, to create the illusion that they are live on TV "Fame at last !!". |
Die Tour durch die Walt Disney Fernsehstudios bietet den Gästen
die einmalige Möglichkeit durch das zu Hause des französischen Disney
CHannel zu wandern. Hier können die Gäste die Produktion der Shows
beobachten, die im ganzen Land in die Wohnzimmer übertragen werden.Zunächst gelangen die Gäste in einen
Pre-Show Bereich, in dem sie auf neun großen Videoleinwänden von 6
verschiedenen Disney Channel Moderatoren in ihrer jeweiligen
Landessprache begrüsst werden. Als nächstes treffen die Gäste ihren
Führer, der sie durch die weiteren Bereiche innerhalb der Walt Disney
Fernsehstudios führen wird. Und dann öffnen sich die Türen der
Studios...
Kurz darauf finden sich die Gäste im
Übertragungszentrum der Studios wieder. Durch riesige Glaswände
können sie das Produktionsteam live bei der Arbeit betrachten. Hier in
diesem Teil der Studios findet die Vor- und Nachbearbeitung der
Aufnahmen statt, bevor die Sendungen in ganz Frankreich ausgestrahlt
werden. Der Führer gibt einen kurzen Überblick über diesen sehr
technischen Bereich, bevor Buzz Lightyear (aus der Disney Channel Serie
Star Command) auf einem Bildschirm die weiteren Erklärungen übernimmt.

die Gäste in das Herz der Studios, ein richtiges funktionierendes
Fernsehstudio.

To
ride Cyber Space Mountain after the tour through the Disney Channel
Studios guests have to expect another, slow moving line due to limited
capacity. Lines for Cyber Space Mountain form early in the day and stay
constant till shortly before attraction closure. Best bet for shorter
waiting times are right after park opening or right before park closure. For a really extreme experience don't
hesitate to ask castmembers at Space Mountain, wether they have special
tricks how to combine the most extreme elements when creating your own
track.

Für Cyber Space Mountain müssen Gäste
im Anschluss an die Tour durch die Disney Channel Studios nochmals
Wartezeiten einkalkulieren auf Grund der beschränkten Kapazitäten.
Die Warteschlange bildet sich hier schon früh am Morgen und bleibt
den ganzen Tag über bestehen. Beste Chance für kurze Wartezeiten
bestehen hier direkt nach Parköffnung und kurz vor Parkschluss. Für eine besonders wilde Fahrt lohnt
es sich, bei den Castmembern nachzufragen, ob sie einen Tipp haben,
wie die extremsten Elemente beim Entwurf der eigenen Strecke
kombiniert werden können.

The
Walt Disney Television Studios underwent numerous changes since the
park's opening in 2002. Where guests now explore an exhibition of
works of art mailed in by viewers of the station (the Art Attack
room) originally a sound stage was placed on which guests were able
to watch (at selected times of the day) live recordings for the
French Disney Channel. During the first incarnation "Zapping
Zone" was produced here, later on "Playhouse Disney"
and finally "Art Attack". Also the videos in the first
segment of the tour were replaced in 2003 to create a more lively,
child-friendly experience by replacing Buzz Lightyear with a
presenter from the French Disney Channel.
The Disney Channel
CyberSpace was added in late 2002 in the location of another
soundstage of the television studios incorporating the CyberSpace
Mountain simulators from a now closed DisneyQuest in the USA.
And for the record
books: this is the first time any television network has had a permanent home in a Disney theme park.

ursprünglich mehrmals täglich echte TV-Sendungen aufgezeichnet -

Disney" und schließlich "Art Attack". Auch wurden
die Videos im ersten Bereich der Tour ausgetauscht. Seit 2003
führt nicht mehr Buzz Lightyear durch die Studios sondern eine
der Moderatorinen des französischen Disney Channel. Der Disney Channel CyberSpace wurde
Ende 2002 an Stelle eines weiteren Aufnahmestudios der Television
Studios eröffnet und beinhaltet die CyberSpace Mountain
Simulatoren aus einem der geschlossenen DisneyQuests aus den USA.
Für die Archive: mit dieser
Attraktion hat erstmals ein Fernsehsender sein permanentes Heim in
einem Disney Themenpark gefunden.

The
tour through the Walt Disney Television Studios features numerous
videos explaining the procedures in a studio. These videos are
presented in French with multi-language subtitles (English, German,
Dutch, Italian and Spanish), which may cause a
problem for younger children. CyberSpace Mountain at the Disney
Channel CyberSpace requires a minimum height of 1.30 meter. It is not recommended for guests with
back/neck-problems or heart/motion sickness; pregnant mothers should also not ride this
attraction.
